About Portal

This portal enables Bank Muscat teams and partners to share the information needed to develop a robust Social Return on Investment (SROI) report. SROI helps quantify how programme activities translate into outcomes for people, communities, and the environment—ultimately informing strategy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Scope of Work

We are assessing nine Bank Muscat programmes:

Maliyat Academy
Maliyat Online Platform
Al Wathbah Academy
Misfat Al Abriyeen
Tadhamun
Green Sports
Fak Kurba
Al Khoudh Park
Himam Marathon (PwD)

What We Collect

Programme basics (objectives, delivery model, geography, cohorts)
Inputs (cash and in-kind resources, staff/volunteer time)
Outputs (participation, activity volumes, certifications, usage)
Outcomes (learning, employment/enterprise results, wellbeing, inclusion)
Supporting evidence (policies, consent, partner reports, financials)

How The Process Works

Onboard & access – Users receive credentials to this portal
Data submission – Programme owners upload required items
Review & gap-closing – Analysts validate scope and evidence; follow-ups if needed
Modelling & valuation – SROI modelling, sensitivity tests, and sense-checks
Reporting – Draft findings shared for review, then finalised

Privacy & safeguarding

Please provide de-identified datasets where applicable and include consent language/policies. Access is limited to authorised personnel; data is used solely for the SROI assessment.

Why This Matters?

Oman’s Corporate Governance Code (Thirteenth Principle — Corporate Social Responsibility) expects listed companies to disclose CSR activities, spend, and an impact & sustainability assessment in the Annual Report. This assessment supports Bank Muscat’s compliance and transparency commitments.
